The Alarming Consequences of Breaking the Law: 11-Year-Old's Taken into Custody in Theft

Residents, in High Point North Carolina were left in shock after a theft at the local car dealership by three teens, ages 16 and 17. Local authorities were stunned to see how the trio managed to gain entry into the dealership despite tight security. The three teens were promptly taken into custody and questioned by the police. While details of their motives remain unclear, investigators remain hopeful of finding the answers in due time. 

Early Sunday morning, Feb. 24th, in North Carolina, an 11-year-old child found themselves caught in a car dealership theft involving three teenagers. When officers arrived at Carolina Hyundai after the call came in at 3:30 a.m., the child was found in the woods with several other individuals, who had been attempting to break into the dealership. The five involved were in a stolen car located in a nearby parking lot. Further investigation revealed that multiple key fobs had been stolen from the business.

The juveniles are now facing the following charges:

• Felony breaking and entering 
• Felony larceny after breaking and entering
• Felony possession of stolen motor vehicle

As the investigation is ongoing, people are left wondering what’s to come of this whole situation and its aftermath. For now, all that is known is that the three children remain in custody.
